Why not take it easy and enjoy Eday’s many highlights from the comfort of a mini bus? The tour starts at the pier and explores the island via the quiet country roads. See seals hauled out on rocky outcrops, abundant bird life including Red-throated Divers & Short - eared Owls, along with beautiful panoramic landscapes. You will stop off at a suprisingly tranquil London Airport, situated on Eday’s isthmus, before continuing to the north of the island. Here you will get the chance to see the famous Setter Stone and some of the island’s many chambered cairns.
Throughout the tour Alan will tell you all about the island’s colourful past. He’s happy to stop so you can take photographs and will tailor the tour to suit your particular interests.
